Hey Everyone,

            So the day
is almost here! Tomorrow my team and I (pictured) head to Uganda. We’ve been preparing and training for the past two months and now it’s go time. The
participants have come so far in their walk with the Lord. We have been privileged
to see and even be a part of God’s work in their lives and they have begun down a
road that few people their age are willing to travel. I can’t tell you how
amazing it is to see them walking in a place of being surrendered to the Father
and being led by the Holy Spirit! Please be in prayer for us as we travel and
as we are immersed in an environment that is completely new for most of them. Please
pray specifically for our first couple of weeks in Uganda, being that it is a very
important transition in so many ways. Pray against sickness (a common enemy
when you first get to a new country), spiritual warfare (as Satan likes to use
the distraction of travel as a means of attack), fatigue and apathy (common
symptoms of jetlag) and any other dangers we might face (the Spirit will lead
you). I thank you all so much for your support, both financially and
spiritually. “The prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective.”
